Holiday Cottage
ABOUT
Wold Farm cottage is a luxurious three bedroom self contained cottage in an undiscovered part of the Northamptonshire countryside. Our aim is to provide a luxurious experience with a personal touch. Wold Farm is a grade 2 listed farmhouse that we have just spent two years restoring and is now our family home. The cottage is situated in a beautiful courtyard garden which guests are free to use. As well as the three ensuite bedrooms there is also a fully fitted kitchen, dining room and lounge with books and board games and an "honesty'" bar for guests to relax in. If you prefer to sit outside, we will happily light the fire pit for you.
Wold Farm is situated in the picturesque village of Old, with honey coloured stone built houses and friendly locals. We are surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, with plenty of walks and great cycle paths.
OUR ROOMS
All our rooms are beautifully furnished with a mixture of modern luxury and vintage chic. The three ensuite rooms have Kingsize beds, Egyptian cotton bedding, flat screen TVs, Nespresso coffee machines and tea making facilities
OUR SERVICES
Breakfast
Our vegetarian breakfasts will need to be pre booked and are freshly cooked to order, using locally sourced ingredients, including eggs from our own hens and fruit from our garden. Our menu changes seasonally and we also offer a full buffet of fresh fruit, cereals , yoghurts and pastries.
Free Wifi
We offer free Wifi throughout the property .
Garden
Guests are free to use the beautiful garden, whether to sit quietly with a book or enjoy a drink .We will also happily light the fire pit for you and serve breakfast on the patio if you would prefer it. In the summer months we also have the lawn set up with croquet.
Lounge
Guests have their own lounge to relax in, with Wifi , books and board games. There is also an "honesty" bar where guests can help themselves to a drink and pay on check out.
Games
As well as the games available in the lounge , we also have a table tennis table set up in the barn for you to use.
Evening Meals
With 24 hours notice we can provide you with a homemade Indian Vegetarian thali meal. We also offer a small selection of frozen meals for you to prepare in our kitchen.

The White Horse Pub
We are lucky enough to have our own independent pub only 500 yards away. Here you will find home made, imaginative dishes as well as craft ales and locally brewed beers. Not to forget the friendly locals too! All our guests will receive 10% off their food bill.
Places of Interest
We are surrounded by stately homes and gardens to visit. Lamport Hall and Gardens is always popular and hosts regular events such as Antique Fairs. The stunning Cottesbrooke Hall and Gardens are always worth a visit, as is Kelmarsh Hall. We also have Althorpe House nearby, which hosts the ever popular Literary and Food and Drink festivals.
Leisure Activities
We are a stone's throw from Pitsford Water, an ideal venue for walking, cycling, sailing and bird watching. There is a seven mile circular waterside track, suitable for walking and cycling. We are also near the Brampton Valley Way, a 14 mile off road track, suitable for walking and cycling.
Shopping
For those who prefer a little more hustle and bustle, the pretty town of Market Harborough is a short drive away. There is a great selection of independent shops and places to eat in this thriving market town.
Activities
If you are looking for something a little more active, Northampton
has an array of things to do. These include karting, climbing. laser, trampolining and bowling. There are also vineyards and local breweries which are well worth a visit. Wickstead theme park is in nearby Kettering.Silverstone circuit is also a short drive away for those F1 fans!
Pop up Restaurant
From time to time we will be opening up as pop up restaurant. Here we will be serving authentic Gujarati food to a maximum of 12 guests, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. If you fancy trying Indian food that Indian people eat, then please contact us for our next "pop up" date.
